EMYUN X MONOCLE
Following our presence on the last Monocle Christmas market in Zurich, Monocle asked us if we could design a sustainable bathing suit with versatile functionalities, running, swimming and wearable in town, all the activities you can perform around lake Zurich. Great challenge.
True to our philosophy, our first bathing suit Blausee for Monocle is in high performance, merino wool, with a fine Cordura mesh into the fabric ensuring optimal durability for your frequent uses. With versatility in mind, it is the ideal short that lets you go straight from a run to a swim.
As all our garments, the Blausee short has been designed in Lausanne, Switzerland and produced in family owned laboratories in Cairate, Italy. The fabrics has been sustainably made in Biella, Italy by Reda with only ZQ merino wool from New Zealand.
It’s elegant, straight cut is inspired by chino pants and features a jean like seat structure, perfect for urban excursions.
The Blausee short made with 2 open front pockets and an invisible rear one perfect for cards and keys. On the inside a lined interior provides optimal comfort and an elastic waist makes for an easy fit.
Distinctly designed with a Corozo button, the Blausee bathing suit features a tone on tone embroidered MONOCLE logo on the front and the reflective EMYUN stripe is thermo pressed on the opposite short leg.
